Terms and Conditions

PARK & PAWS – TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. DEFINITIONS

 

"Park & Paws", "we", "us" and "our" refers to Park & Paws. "Owner", "client" and "you" refers to the owner of the dog receiving services.

​

  2.  SERVICES

 

Park & Paws provides dog walking, adventure day walks, home boarding, pet sitting and related pet care services.

​

  3.  BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT

 

All bookings are subject to availability. Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing. Package purchases are non-refundable and must be used within their stated validity period.

​

  4.  CANCELLATIONS

 

Dog Walking & Adventure Walks:

​

  • More than 24 hours' notice: no charge.

  • Less than 24 hours' notice: full fee may be charged.

 

Home Boarding:

​

  • More than 7 days' notice: full refund.

  • Less than 7 days' notice: up to 50% of the booking fee may be retained.

  • Less than 48 hours' notice: up to 100% of the booking fee may be retained.

 

Park & Paws reserves the right to cancel services due to illness, emergencies, unsafe weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. Any cancelled service will be rescheduled where possible or refunded.

  5.  HEALTH AND VACCINATIONS

 

Owners confirm that their dog:

​

  • Is up to date with vaccinations.

  • Is regularly treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

  • Is free from contagious illness.

  • Has no undisclosed medical conditions that may affect participation.

 

Owners agree to inform Park & Paws immediately of any changes to their dog's health.

​

  6.  BEHAVIOUR

 

Owners must disclose any history of aggression, biting, excessive reactivity, anxiety, resource guarding or behavioural concerns.

 

Park & Paws reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate services if a dog presents a risk to itself, other animals, members of the public or our staff.

 

Any costs resulting from undisclosed behavioural issues remain the responsibility of the owner.

  7.  OFF-LEAD EXERCISE

 

Dogs may be exercised off lead only with the owner's consent and where Park & Paws considers it safe to do so.

 

Owners acknowledge that while every reasonable precaution is taken, off-lead exercise carries inherent risks.

​

  8.  COLLECTION AND TRANSPORT

 

Owners authorise Park & Paws to transport their dog in a suitably equipped vehicle for the purpose of providing services.

 

While every reasonable precaution is taken, owners acknowledge that transportation carries inherent risks.

​

  9.  EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE

 

In the event of illness, injury or emergency, Park & Paws will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner.

 

Where immediate treatment is required, owners authorise Park & Paws to seek veterinary treatment on their behalf.

 

All veterinary fees, treatment costs and associated expenses remain the responsibility of the owner.

  10.  HOME BOARDING

 

Dogs staying in our home must be house-trained, sociable and suitable for a home environment.

 

Owners must provide accurate information regarding feeding, medication, routines and behaviour.

 

Park & Paws reserves the right to terminate a boarding stay if a dog poses a risk to people, property or other animals.

​

  11.  LIABILITY

 

Park & Paws will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing services.

 

However, owners acknowledge that dog walking, socialisation, transport and boarding involve inherent risks.

 

Except in cases of negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded, Park & Paws shall not be liable for:

​

  • Illness, injury or death arising from normal dog activities.

  • Escape of a dog where reasonable precautions have been taken.

  • Damage caused by a dog to property, persons or animals.

  • Loss arising from inaccurate information supplied by the owner.

 

Owners agree to indemnify Park & Paws against claims, losses or expenses arising from their dog's actions.

  12.  PHOTOGRAPHS AND MARKETING

 

Park & Paws may take photographs and videos of dogs during services for website, social media and marketing purposes.

 

Owners may withdraw consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

​

  13.  DATA PROTECTION

 

Client information will be stored securely and used solely for the provision of services and related business administration.

 

Information will not be sold to third parties.

​

  14.  FORCE MAJEURE

 

Park & Paws shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, transport disruption, illness or emergencies.

​

  15.  ACCEPTANCE

 

By booking services with Park & Paws, the owner confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
